Our client, a major player in the Real Estate sector with subsidiaries in facility management outsourcing and consulting, is seeking to fill a key position in its dynamic team. We are recruiting for an experienced:

Human Resources Manager

Reporting to: Group Chairman
Description
The HR Manager will be responsible for defining and standardizing the HR role within all its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities
Developing organizational strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis and recommendations to organisational strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives
Implementing HR Strategies including Talent Acquisition, Staffing, Employment Processing, Compensation, Health and Welfare benefits, Training and Development, Records Management, Health and Safety, Succession Planning, Employees Relations and Retention and Labour Relations
Managing HR operations including recruitment and selection, orientation, training, coaching and disciplinary procedures; implementing effective performance management system; maintaining compensation; determining performance objectives quality and customer service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change
Developing HR financial strategy by estimating, forecasting and anticipating requirements, trends and variances; aligning monetary resources ; developing action plans; measuring and analysing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances
Accomplishing special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfilment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction
Supporting Management by providing human resources advice, counsel and decisions; analysing information and applications
Guiding Management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing and updating policies, procedures, methods and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organizational values
Complying with Federal, State and Local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising Management on needed actions
Updating job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Enhancing department and organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Person Specification
Ability to balance business objectives and people expectations (Group) as a whole and various teams.
Good understanding of how various strategies (business, corporate, operational) align with the HR strategies and approach
Attentive to detail.
Knowledge of HR legal frameworks and how they play out with various types of employment contracts.
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of relevant HR software
Familiarity with HR approach and strategies, policy and process designs to meet various organizational and business outcomes
Requirements
First degree in any discipline
Professional degree in Human Resources Management or MBA
Minimum of 10 year experience in HR field, and prior experience in managerial role
